Volunteers’ Week

Happy Volunteers’ Week!

It’s National Volunteers’ Week and we’d like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to the 46 Volunteers and 19 Peer Supporters (and counting!) who give their time, skills and priceless support to Oxfordshire Mind – You Are Amazing!

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. Over 21 million people volunteer in the UK at least once a year and behind these big numbers is a big contribution.

Our Volunteers and Peer Supporters help us to give vital support those who need our services, and we couldn’t be more grateful. To help show how much we appreciate each and every one of you our staff will be making social media appearances throughout Volunteers Week (1-12 June) – so keep an eye out over the coming days for pictures, post, photos and (some very silly) videos on our Facebook and Twitter feeds!

If you’d like to join our wonderful team of volunteers and peer supporters, we’re currently looking for support with our Active Body Healthy Mind project and Information Service. Why not get in touch or take a look at our website to find out more!
