We wanted to pass on the news that after 15 years Patrick Taylor, our Chief Executive, is moving on.
This is what Patrick had to say:
“When I started at Mind back in 2000 I had no idea I would be in the one job for such a long time – but the work has been constantly interesting and it’s been a wonderful experience for me. Helping the organisation develop over the last 15 years has meant so much to me – and I feel very lucky to have worked with such wonderful colleagues right across the organisation. The job I am moving to is still in the Charity sector but with a different focus (I shall be working for the Berkshire Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust) and I’m very excited about the new challenges that’s going to bring!”
Patrick finishes on March 11th and the Board of Trustees have already begun to make arrangements to recruit a new Chief Executive – as well as ensuring there are robust interim arrangements to cover the gap between Patricks departure and a new Chief Executive taking up the role.
Patrick will also be at the next ‘Mind Talks’ event on 7th March at The Mill in Oxford when Barbara Taylor will be talking about her book The Last Asylum.
