Last year saw over 500 people coming together with a shared goal of supporting and improving the mental health of all young people in Oxfordshire. The conference was welcomed by the sector, 96% of delegates wanted to see Youth in Mind become an annual event, and so that is what we aim to do. In 2019, tickets sold out and we had a waiting list for both stalls and delegate tickets so do not miss out on this early bird offer because tickets are selling fast and will rise to £49.50 on the 7th December.
The conference will be opened by a wonderful group of students from The Grange Primary School in Banbury supported by One-Eighty’s Make Me Smile project.
Speakers will include:
- Paul Farmer – Chief Executive of National Mind
- Maddie Dinwoodie – Deputy Chief executive of UK Youth
- Lucy Butler – Director of Children Services for Oxfordshire County Council
Expert panel discussion chaired by Andrea King – NHS Local Authority Advisor for Wessex and Thames Valley Regions
There will also be an exclusive performance of Pipeline by the Mandala Theatre Company.
