Youth in Mind is a partnership between Oxfordshire Youth and Oxfordshire Mind. The event launched in March 2019 and we are delighted to be bringing back this informative, innovative and inspiring one-day conference.
Last year saw over 500 people coming together with a shared goal of supporting and improving the mental health of all young people in Oxfordshire. The conference was welcomed by the sector, tickets sold out and had a waiting list for both stalls and delegate tickets. 96% of delegates wanted to see Youth in Mind become an annual event, and so that is what we aim to do, so in 2020 the conference will take place on Wednesday 12th February.
Why Exhibit?
Hosting a stall at Youth in Mind is great value for money, the large market place was buzzing last year with a cross sector representation of people who work with children and young people. It is a wonderful opportunity to network and promote your services while also discovering new opportunities to collaborate within the sector and learning from local and national experts about children and young people’s mental health. Conference delegates will include school leaders and staff, third sector organisations, and NHS professionals.
Why attend?
Delegates will gain access to national and local experts, 80 exhibition stands, workshops, an expert panel, performances, youth-led training and much more.
Speakers will include:
Paul Farmer – Chief Executive of national Mind
Maddie Dinwoodie – Deputy Chief executive of UK Youth
Andrea King – Safeguarding and NHS Advisor
Delegates will have time to attend 3 x 45 minute workshops.
Our workshops offer something for everyone. And stall holders are welcome to attend them too. They are delivered by experts in their field and will be informative, inspirational and most importantly, applicable to your work with children and young people.
