The Oxford Drunken Knitwits, a social and knitting group, are raising money for Oxfordshire Mind through a gentle bit of yarnstorming. And they need your help.
The aim of the project is to spread a little cheer by creating a garden of knitted, crocheted and otherwise handmade flowers, leaves, and wildlife along the fence surrounding the Radliffe Camera.
The fundraising element will come in via special text code tags hanging within the garden that will enable people to donate to Oxfordshire Mind from their phones. However, if you’d rather donate online, then please use this JustGiving page.
The garden is due to appear in August 2016 and as there’s lots of fencing that needs covering, they need your help! If you’d like to supply some handmade garden-themed loveliness, then please do send them into Oxfordshire Mind by 15 July at:

We have already received some lovely bits of knitting so looking forward to receiving yours!
If you’re unsure of how to start then you can access some free patterns on the Drunken Knitwits website.
