Sara Keppie, Service Manager (Localities) at Oxfordshire Mind, said: “Oxfordshire Mind have been delivering the Beginners Fitness and Wellbeing course at Meadow Brook College. This course is delivered by the Oxfordshire Mind Physical Activity and Wellbeing team and was funded by OXSPA, now Active Oxfordshire. Whilst taking part in the course, students and staff created a variety of artworks for the World Mental Health Day Exhibition at Abingdon Mind. We have chosen to exhibit in Abingdon as the Meadowbrook College students have been attending the Discovery Course and this is based in Abingdon.”

Cheryl West, Discovery Team Leader at Meadow Brook College, said: “The majority of the art work was made by young men aged 11 to 14 who have been excluded from school. There are a couple of pieces that have been made by the staff as we wanted to contribute based on our experiences of working with young people and the struggles they face.”
