To make our services as safe as possible, as we reopen to people attending in person, everyone will be asked screening questions to check for symptoms or contact with people who have COVID-19 symptoms.
We will also be limiting numbers and asking people to social distance whenever possible while in our buildings. More information will be available when you contact us to book on to a session.

Benefits for Better Mental Health (BBMH) are able to support with:
• Benefits health checks: to ensure you are getting the benefits you are entitled to
• Claims: we can support you with claiming and maintaining your benefits, including the necessary letters, forms, journal updates, and phone calls
• Appeals: we’re happy to represent you at appeals and challenging decisions.

Children and Young People
The Children & Young People team are able to support children and young people, parents, and staff members working with young people.
Anyone attending the Oxfordshire Mind Children and Young People service will need to follow school guidelines and policies on face coverings.
Attendance of activities and courses in schools from September 2020 will be arranged through school staff.

Adult Mental Health Teams (AMHT) Wellbeing Project
Referrals into this service are via the Oxfordshire Adult Mental Health Teams.
Mental Wealth Academy
The Mental Wealth Academy is a new partnership offering a proactive and preventative programme of non-clinical mental health services for 18-25 year-olds across Oxfordshire.
For the next six months, in response to the effects of the COVID pandemic, this service is being extended to 16-and-17-year-olds.
The service is currently offering virtual and telephone support, via self-referral:
Primary Care Wellbeing Project
Oxfordshire Mind are offering one-to-one sessions for patients registered with certain Oxfordshire GP practices who may be experiencing a range of mental health or wellbeing issues, as part of our Primary Care Wellbeing Project.
Support is currently being offered virtually, with some practises returning back to face to face support.
Where possible clients are asked to wear a face covering, for face to face appointments, unless you are medically exempt.
Book in to the service via a GP or nurse at selected surgeries.

Peer Support Groups (Oxford City)
Peer Support is when people use their own experiences to help each other. Oxfordshire Mind have a range of Peer Support groups, currently the groups are being delivered virtually, with a phased return to face to face groups.
Where possible service users are asked to wear a face covering, for face to face groups, unless you are medically exempt.

Safe Haven (Oxford and Banbury)
Oxford and Banbury Safe Haven offer short-term additional support out of hours for people in Oxfordshire, who are over 18 and experiencing a mental health crisis.
The service is currently offering a mixed model of support (telephone, garden group work and face to face sessions).
Oxford Safe Haven: face coverings are mandatory inside, unless you are exempt from wearing a covering.
Banbury Safe Haven: face coverings are recommended but not mandatory.
Banbury and Oxford Safe Haven are open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday from 6pm until 10pm – if you need support please call or email ahead using following referral details (open from 5pm, last entry 9pm.)

Walking for Wellbeing
Walking for Wellbeing are offering virtual walks and two weekly face to face walks, Oxford City.

Peer Support and Volunteering
Oxfordshire Mind offer a variety of volunteering and peer support placements across the County.
New applications are currently not being taken.
Existing volunteers and peer supporters can contact volunteer supervisors to discuss current opportunities.

We want to work in partnership with people who have experienced mental health conditions to improve our services. With your experience and expertise, you can help us to improve our services for others who may need them.
