We are delighted to welcome our new CEO to Oxfordshire Mind. Dan is a long-term Oxfordshire resident, he was brought up in Abingdon and studied Biology at Oxford University. Dan is married with two young children, he lives in Sutton Courtenay, and he aims to cycle into the office as often as he can to try to keep on top of ‘middle age spread’.
“I have been overwhelmed by the welcome I have received from everyone at Oxfordshire Mind, including our staff, volunteers, peer supporters and service users. We are a powerful and influential force for good in our community and have a significant local and national profile. I am very proud of the work we do, and very aware that the need for our services is growing all the time. Our Housing, TalkingSpace Plus and Wellbeing teams, supported by the team in Osney Mead, all make a huge difference to our service users and I have enjoyed seeing this work at first hand. My ambition for Oxfordshire Mind is to build on everything we do so well already, aiming to help more people in more ways over time. It is also exciting that we will be celebrating our 50 years anniversary next year.”
