12 year old Holly is organising a Superhero Family Fun Run in memory of her Uncle who passed away on Christmas Day.
You can run, walk or fly 2.5k or 5k at this event, held at Aureus School on 15th September.
There will be a bouncy castle, cake stall, games, glitter tattoo, photo booth and lots more!
Holly said ‘On Christmas Day my world changed when I lost my uncle to mental health. The family and I have been left devistated- Shane was so loved and is irreplaceable to all who knew him. With my own battles Oxfordshire Mind have helped me and my family through this difficult time. I wanted to give something back so with the help of friends, family, my dance group and my school, I have organised this event to raise money in the awareness and hope others realise they are not alone even in their darkest hour.So come alone have fun together as a family. You will be my superhero’s!’ 💙
