This National Time to Talk Day TalkingSpace Plus, a free NHS service for people living in Oxfordshire with anxiety and depression, is hosting a Roadshow to get people talking about mental health.
The service is inviting members of the public to come along to Bonn Square – Oxford on the 1st February (10am – 4pm) to find out how people can improve mood, wellbeing and seek support on National Time to Talk Day.
Over the past three months TalkingSpace Plus has visited destinations all over Oxfordshire, to let people know more about the support that is available to them and encourage people to #LetsStartTalking about every day mental health. The service will also display #LetsStartTalking bubbles on the stall to encourage people to share personal experiences, thoughts and emotions to do with mental health and wellbeing – should people feel comfortable in doing so.
Jo Ryder, Clinical Lead for TalkingSpace Plus, said: “With one in four people experiencing a mental health problem each year, this Roadshow is a brilliant way to talk with local people about every day mental health and wellbeing and signpost people to local services.”
