Where we operate
Oxfordshire Mind has offices and wellbeing hubs across Oxfordshire and Berkshire West.
We’re Oxfordshire Mind, the mental health charity, operating across Oxfordshire and Berkshire West.
We’re here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support; in total over 20,000 people access our services each year.
We’re sometimes called a ‘local branch’, but we’re actually an independent registered charity serving our local communities.
We employ over 250 staff and operate in Oxfordshire and Berkshire West.
We have offices and wellbeing centres in Abingdon, Banbury, Cowley, Oxford City (including our Head Office in Osney Mead), Witney and Wokingham. Our housing properties are spread across Oxford City, Didcot, Wallingford, Cholsey and Witney, many of which have on site offices.
We’re sometimes called a ‘local branch’, but we’re actually an independent registered charity.
Oxfordshire Mind is part of a network of over 100 Local Minds who tailor trusted mental health services to our communities. We set our own strategies and partnerships.
We collaborate with Mind to make sure their pioneering campaigns, information and research makes a difference in Oxfordshire and Berkshire West. Together, we make better mental health possible both locally and nationally.
Flexible working/Agile working/Hybrid working
Like many organisations, we have adapted our services and ways of working as a result of the pandemic and we are still evolving how we can offer fair and sustainable hybrid working practices that work for our employees, our organisation and most importantly our service-users.
We recognise the benefits to our staff of flexible, agile and hybrid working options and how these support staff wellbeing, inclusion and performance. A variety of options can be considered and will be different for each role and service.
Examples include:
- Flexible start and finish times
- Homeworking
- Hybrid working
- Reduced and compressed hours
We will endeavour to provide some clarity in our advertised job descriptions, however, with new roles and locations being established on a regular basis as part of a growing organisation, please ask the question as part of your application process.
