Co-production is about developing more equal partnerships between people who use services, carers and professionals. As part of Co-production Week 2018, Oxfordshire Mind will be making the following pledge:
Oxfordshire Mind CEO, Dan Knowles; “During national co-production week, Oxfordshire Mind is pledging to embark on a journey with service users, carers, volunteers and peer supporters to become a more co-productive organisation.
This year we have employed our first Service User Involvement Coordinator, showing our commitment in continuing to improve the way we work together with those who have lived experience of mental health”
Oxfordshire Mind Service User Involvement Coordinator, Grace Holland; “My pledge this year is to work alongside our service users, our carers, our peer supporters, our staff and our volunteers to develop Oxfordshire Mind’s first ever Co-Production strategy; the starting point of our co-production journey.
We will continue to break down barriers between the people who use our services and those who run them in order to work together to create meaningful change in both our services & our local community.”
