The Walking for Wellbeing project helps people with long-term mental health conditions to get active. Wellbeing Walk Leaders facilitate short walks from a variety of existing mental health locations and support participants to improve their mental and physical health.

Training required: Oxfordshire Mind Volunteer Induction Training one day course. Walking for Wellbeing Induction half-day course. Walk Leader Training half-day course. Ongoing support will also be provided in placement.

Time commitment: 1 hour per week (weekdays morning or aft), for a minimum of 3 months, plus group supervisions every 2 months.
